DECODE is a scientific program designed to coordinate research projects on cognitive and behavioral development and early screening for developmental disorders.
We study how the sensory skills of babies and young children are linked to the development of their attention and cognitive skills. We use these studies to explore new avenues of screening, prevention and remediation for children at risk of developmental difficulties (attention disorders, learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, etc.).
DECODE relies on the collaboration of several specialties within the University of Caen Normandie: psychology and cognitive sciences, neonatology and pediatrics, brain imaging and biomedical engineering.
